North Reading Police cruiser #18 (retired) has gone international. Dominik von Kolontay of Osnabrueck, Germany acquired our retired car 18 and had it shipped to Germany. He’s spent many painstaking hours restoring the cruiser to what it had once looked like while it was an active member of our fleet.
Dominik is an eighteen year old car enthusiast who’s a member of the “Police Car Owners of America European Chapter”. The organization finds old American police cruisers and then refurbishes them to their original state.
Dominik used the North Reading Police Department’s website to research the color scheme of our police vehicles.
