This unit serves to continuously provide members of this Department with equipment and up-to-date information on communicable diseases. The designated infection control officer (DICO) will be responsible for communicating with appropriate personnel at the hospital or elsewhere in relation to the potential for transmission of disease to employee(s) of the department.
