The minimum age to participate in the Academy is 18. Applicants may apply at 16 with parental consent needed up to age 18. Completion of an application does not confirm your participation. You will be contacted by the North Reading Police Department if your application is accepted. If accepted, you will be asked to complete additional waivers and forms.
North Reading residents will receive priority consideration.
There is no cost to participate in this program and space is limited.
Applicants should commit to all 8 weeks of program on Tuesdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm 3/10/26 through 5/5/26. There will be no class on April 21st.
