We here at the North Reading Police Department would like to take this opportunity to recognize and commend local 5th grader, Justin Armata for his successful efforts in raising money for Boston Children’s Hospital.
Justin and some members of his fund raising team stopped by the North Reading Police Department tonight to drop off some of the left over bake sale items from what has become an annual event that Justin organizes and coordinates for the worthwhile cause.
Justin and his team were able to raise an outstanding $1765 dollars, every penny of which is being donated to Boston Children’s Hospital.
Justin and his team are some more prime examples of the high quality of kids and young adults that are living in and giving back, not only to our community, but to those who may be in need outside of it. To that end we also would like to take this opportunity to commend all the people, especially the kids who we saw walking the NRHS track on Friday night participating in the “Relay for Life” cancer event.
We thank all of our local youth for their consistent efforts in helping others and for making our community a stronger and better place to live.
