20th Century Fox will continue filming their new feature film entitled “Kay’s Baptism” in North Reading. The production crew will be shooting scenes over the course of several days inside of a location on Winter Street.
Filming will continue on March 11th, March 12th, and March 13th. Winter St will be closed to thru traffic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local residents and businesses will be able to access Winter St via Park St. Emergency vehicles and school buses will also be able to access Winter St via Park St. The Police Department will be onsite to assist with traffic flow. Detour signs and digital displays will be posted a week in advance notifying the public and providing alternate routes. The Police Department is urging all residents and business owners to seek alternate routes during these times. Motorists can expect delays.
20th Century Fox and the North Reading Police Department will continue to coordinate efforts to minimize any negative affects the production may cause. Updates on detours or other information related public safety during the movie production will be provided on the North Reading Police Department website (www.nrpd.org), Police Department’s social media (Facebook and Twitter), the Town of North Reading website (www.northreadingma.gov), and the North Reading Transcript.
