In was has become a welcomed local tradition, students and parents from the Hood School PTO have taken the time and effort to offer a show of support and thanks to local law enforcement on this national day of remembrance, 9-11, by delivering us an oversized basket of treats and snacks.
Although not required, gestures of support from the community such as this have a lasting and positive effects on those of us who serve as first responders and we are all thankful to receive them.
Taking the time to remember us on a day that is so strongly linked to the sacrifices that first responders in this country have made or may have to make is considered by all of us an to be an honor and we thank all of you in the community for taking the time to show your continued support.
On a side note, we were told the healthy snacks were on the bottom of the pile, we will continue the search…
